I am a thirty-something year old doctor and mother of two young daughters, living in a seaside town on the South coast of England. I learnt to knit as a child, and picked it up again eight years ago (predictably) when pregnant with my eldest daughter. I finally learnt to crochet when bored and about a week overdue with my youngest daughter. I love textile arts, and have dabbled with spinning with a drop spindle and dyeing. One day I may buy a spinning wheel……

Hola, I just wanted to say I liked very much the blog, very inspiring :)))
have a nice summer!
Hey there,
I found your blog via Ravelry. 🙂
I’d very much like to know in which town exactly at the South Coast. 😉
My parents sent me to Eastbourne almost every year when I was a kid to learn English. I’ve been to Brighton and Hastings, too, of course. 🙂
Best wishes,
Ciaran
Really enjoyed visiting you blog. We be back again.
Thank you so much for the spanish translation of the Eva Shawl. I am teaching a spanish speaking woman to knit, and it’s very difficult to find a pattern for her. Since she is a true beginner I don’t know if this is simple enough for her, but I’m going to have her give it a try!
Thanks again!
I love your one row lace cowl, but when i try to download the pdf, I get a message that the file is damaged and cannot be repaired.
Is there a way I can still access the pattern?
Thanks…I saw it on Ravelry.
